Anglo Office Group’s core six mission and values acknowledges that managing environmental and social performance is critical to an organisation’s ability to operate effectively, those elements form an integral part of our business proposition.

We are therefore committed to placing social responsibility at the heart of our business ethics and using the guidance outlined within the International (Social Responsibility) Standard ISO 26000 to help us to do this effectively.
Our socially responsible business ethics help guide our policies and practices and include accountability, transparency, ethical behaviour and respect for human rights.
We believe that it is important to develop lasting internal and external relationships with our customers and within our own business, amongst our staff, contractors and suppliers. Good professional relationships are key to how we operate and essential to us delivering successful solutions.
Internally we understand that fostering a healthy and safe working environment brings out the best in people and allows them to develop and flourish. We also understand that we have a duty to reduce our environmental impacts and those of our customers and supply partners. We also recognise we have a duty to also contribute to the communities we work and live in.
We actively encourage everyone within Anglo Office Group to play a part in our vision of corporate social responsibility, from taking action to reduce carbon emissions to engaging in activities supporting various charities.
In pursuit of continual improvement we have introduced an Integrated Management System (IMS) which includes the AOG Improvement Log. The IMS allows us to plan, measure and improve every aspect of the business with focus on the three core areas for our triple bottom line reporting, economic, environmental and social. It also enables us to have clear lines of communication and helps us focus, record and measure our performance.
Our corporate social responsibility policy has been developed as part of the IMS to help communicate our stance and provide a focus for the continual identification of our significant issues in order for us to effectively implement the necessary actions to measurably improve.
We are committed to upholding our position as a market leader and creating an environment where the principles of corporate social responsibility are understood, embraced and practised.
Health, Safety and Wellbeing
The Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our staff is of the utmost importance to us. External advisors support our wellbeing program, which involves engaging with our staff at least twice a year to get their views, opinions and ideas on what we can improve upon.
We also recognise that effective staff development and training is an important component of our business model. Our IMS has a training matrix that records all the training given to all members of staff.
One of our key six commitments is to maintain and encourage positive “can do” communication and inclusion supported by an “open door” management and leadership culture. We therefore offer the opportunity for 1-2-1 personal support when required.
It is important to us that we take great care in upholding our equal opportunities and diversity policies in order that that no employee, contractor, job applicant or visitor receives less favourable treatment due to race, gender, marital status, age, disability, religious belief, political opinion, or sexual orientation.

All our employees are responsible for ensuring that our CSR policy is actively implemented and they are made aware of their personal responsibility to each other, customers, contractors, suppliers and visitors.
As we are committed to offering the broadest range of products and services to our customers it is of paramount importance that we choose the correct partners. To this end our suppliers are thoroughly vetted and significant checks are in place to ensure that they operate ethically and environmentally to the standards that we set. We have introduced a supplier questionnaire that allows us to not only sell their products and services with confidence, but also to grade them according to the aforementioned standards. This then enables our customers to choose easily which supply partner or product is best suited for them. It also allows continual improvement for our suppliers, as these standards are revised annually. Sustainability and openness to innovation are as equally important as their market competitiveness and performance when we are grading them.
Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Key to all of our activities is our commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all of our business activities whether these are within the United Kingdom or overseas. A particular focus is the prevention of bribery and corruption.
In our endeavour to prevent bribery and corruption, comprehensive policies have been introduced within Anglo Office Group in accordance with the UK’s Bribery Act 2010.
We continue to pride ourselves in our zero tolerance approach to all forms of bribery and corruption and our senior management are tasked with implementing effective measures to prevent, monitor and eliminate bribery and corruption.
Data Protection and Information Security
We understand the importance of data protection and information security and have effectively implemented policies and standards to ensure we comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. Our proactive stance regarding information technology aims to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate data and safeguard the interests of our company, employees and clients.
In April 2018 we introduced our “Information Retention and Destruction Policy” along with their specific retention and archive periods in order that we were GDPR compliant.
The managing of information within Anglo Office Group falls under the remit of Russell Hodson, CSR & Commercial Director.
Social Investment Charity Work and Donations
We believe that investing in good causes is a responsibility of the business community. Our staff choose a different charity each year and subsequently we will organise at least 2 events to raise money in support of this. In addition the business will also look to support a local charity. In 2016/17 it was to help Blue Patch launch the UK’s first sustainable department store in Dulwich.
We also work with a local school, Stillness Junior where we donate any unused stationery products we are unable to return or re-sell. We also offer our customers a stationery amnesty whereby we collect office stationery items that they are not using. Any of these items that they are unable to re-use, or we are unable to return will also be donated to Stillness Junior School.
Environmental Impact Reduction
Anglo Office Group Limited is a leading provider of managed business supplies for over 400 of London’s leading companies covering every major industry sector. The services and activities covered by the scope of the Environmental Management System (EMS) include sales, administration, distribution and the management of third party service providers for clients. We are committed to providing clients with a service and delivery that puts sustainability issues at the core of our operations through our Group Mission and Values.
To achieve this, we have developed and implemented an EMS which ensures that our environmental objectives, policies, and procedures are embedded into our daily operations and are adhered to at all times. We measure and monitor our, our customers and suppliers performance, which then enables us to effectively target reduction in our and their environmental impacts. All Anglo representatives are aware of their individual responsibilities in complying with the requirements of our EMS.
In order to become a market leader in sustainability we have launched “Project Zero”. This combines our commitment to reduce our customer’s costs with the reduction of their environmental impacts through consolidation of their purchasing, systems and making these consolidated deliveries using Gnewt Cargo’s 100% zero emission delivery fleet.
Working with Gnewt we have provided a consolidated delivery solution for staff purchases for the Grosvenor Estate. The pilot scheme started in September 2017 has been so successful that Grosvenor are looking to roll the scheme out across their estate.
We are also looking to provide similar schemes for the Business Improvement Districts and other Property management companies we work with.

Anglo is in a position to take responsibility for managing all of a customer’s procurement and supply chain. Our anti-slavery policy and procedures ensure we audit all tier one suppliers to ensure risk of modern slavery and human trafficking is minimised as part of our quality control procedures and client-driven service.
