Anglo’s contribution to the low carbon circular economy in London

We’re proud to report that our collaborative approach with Grosvenor Head office and Gnewt Cargo to reduce deliveries and environmental impact at Grosvenor Head office in Mayfair saw a huge saving of 2,000 van journeys – or 3,600 diesel van miles.

It’s common now that offices are a primary delivery address for personal deliveries – which although convenient for staff, is costly for a business, for air quality and for local vehicle congestion. Our pilot scheme that involved both business and personal delivery consolidation onto zero emissions vehicles was so successful that they are now adopting the scheme outright.

Our CSR Director, Russell Hodson said about the scheme;

“Anglo’s business proposition is to deliver smarter, sustainable purchasing solutions via consolidation and rationalisation. This can only be achieved when there is genuine collaboration between the customer, their vendors and a logistics partner…The project with Grosvenor is a prime example of what can be achieved when this approach is applied.”
